Craving a getaway but stuck at home? One sip of this Tropical Piña Colada and you’ll feel like you’ve traded your shoes for sand and your to-do list for palm trees. Creamy, fruity, and impossibly refreshing, it’s a blender full of sunshine that turns any moment into an island escape.

The Piña Colada is a cocktail classic for good reason, silky coconut cream, juicy pineapple, and golden rum have been winning hearts since it first debuted in Puerto Rico. But here, we give it a little extra Hawaiian spirit. Made with Kōloa Gold Rum, this version layers subtle notes of vanilla and toasted sugar into the tropical mix, creating a smooth, balanced cocktail that’s both nostalgic and new.

Want to take it further? Try a float of Kōloa Dark Rum for rich complexity, a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for warmth, or even a few frozen banana chunks for a creamy, dessert-like twist. However you blend it, this isn’t just a cocktail, it’s a mood, a memory, and a mini-vacation in your glass.

Fun Fact: The Piña Colada has been Puerto Rico’s national drink since 1978! And while its roots are Caribbean, this version pays homage to island flavors on both sides of the Pacific. Kōloa Gold Rum brings its Hawaiian richness to this classic for a uniquely smooth, balanced twist.
