Looking for a no-fuss treat that brings summer straight to your kitchen? These three-layer Key Lime Pie Bars are zesty, creamy, and made for island dreaming. With a buttery coconut macadamia crust, tart key lime filling infused with Kōloa White Rum, and a cloud of vanilla whipped topping, each bar is a bite-sized tropical vacation.

And the best part? The fridge does most of the work. No special tools, no water baths, just mix, bake, and chill. Whether for a backyard BBQ, a beach picnic, or a sweet treat on a sunny afternoon, these bars deliver every time.

Fun Fact: Macadamia nuts are native to Australia, but Hawaii has become one of the world’s top producers. Pair them with tropical rum and citrus, and you’ve got paradise in dessert form.

Servings: Makes 9 bars

Ingredients

For the Coconut Macadamia Crust:

  • 3/4 cup crushed macadamia nuts

  • 3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut

  • 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 6 tbsp melted butter (plus 1–2 tbsp more if needed)
